Korea Institute of Corporate Governance and Sustainability is Korea's leading ESG evaluation agency that evaluates the level of sustainable management of listed companies, and the evaluation results are used as basic data for voting rights exercise by the National Pension Service and others.

Sustinvest is a domestic ESG specialized evaluation and research organization that conducts biannual ESG assessments on domestic publicly listed companies and major enterprises (first and second half of the year). The first-half assessment primarily reflects governance performance, while the second-half assessment reveals the overall ESG performance of companies, assigning public ratings based on the evaluation.

Initiatives
Since LS ELECTRIC joined the UN Global Compact (UNGC), an initiative to implement corporate social responsibility in 2015, we have been supporting and applying the Ten Principles of the UNGC regarding human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption to all of our corporate activities.
LS ELECTRIC is pursuing balanced sustainable development to contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) created by the United Nations. In particular, we are operating a variety of support programs for our stakeholders including business partners and the underprivileged.
LS ELECTRIC joined the global RE100 initiative in 2023, 12, with a commitment to transition all of its facilities, including overseas subsidiaries and affiliates, to 100% renewable energy by 2040.
LS ELECTRIC joined the K-EV100 Initiative to replace all of our own or rented fossil fuel vehicles with eco-friendly vehicles by 2030.
LS ELECTRIC identifies climate change risks and opportunities and discloses such information transparently to stakeholders. We adopted the TCFD recommendations as our reporting criteria and established our climate change response strategies including the carbon neutrality strategy.
LS ELECTRIC is managing non-financial indexes that affect the corporate values, taking its industrial characteristics into account. Since 2021, we have been disclosing the indices of the electrical and electronic industry demanded by the SASB (Sustainability Accounting Standards Board) via our sustainability report.

In April 2023, LS ELECTRIC was selected as an outstanding company in the industrial and capital goods sector at the '2023 JoongAng ESG Awards,' hosted by JoongAng Ilbo. The selection process involved evaluations conducted by the domestic ESG assessment organization, Sustinvest, covering 511 companies across 11 industry sectors to identify exemplary companies.
